Geologie von Österreich - kurz und bunt“ (Schuster et al., 2015) publizierten Karte, mit dem Titel „Geologische Übersichtskarte der Republik Österreich 1:1 500 000 (ohne Quartär)“, abgeleitet wurde.</idPurp>
<idAbs>&lt;div&gt;&lt;div&gt;The legends on this map refer to lithologies, i.e. to rock types and (according to scale) to rock associations that make up the geological subsurface. The respective geological formation ages of these rocks are also added to the legend texts.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;As a feature that goes beyond a print version, the post-Middle Eocene sedimentary basins or polygons can be optionally hidden in the web map, whereby the rocks or lithotectonic units located in the subsurface of these sedimentary basins are then shown.
